Refund Policy

01 Overview & no-refund principle

Recharges4u provides digital services — including mobile & DTH recharge, BBPS bill payments, AEPS, money transfer, FASTag, gas booking and insurance — that are fulfilled instantly by third-party operators and billers. Because these services are delivered in real time and cannot be recalled once processed, all successful transactions are final and no refund, cancellation or return is available.

02 Successful transactions

Once a transaction is successfully processed and confirmed by the operator or biller, it cannot be cancelled, reversed or refunded under any circumstances. This includes recharges, bill payments, transfers and bookings that have been delivered to the intended number, account or biller.

03 Wallet top-ups

• Amounts added to your Recharges4u Wallet are meant solely to avail services on the Platform and are non-refundable to your bank account or card.
• Wallet balance cannot be withdrawn as cash and can only be used towards eligible services.
• Any remaining balance on account closure will be handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and applicable law, after deduction of dues.

04 Failed or unsuccessful transactions

• Reversals are subject to confirmation from the concerned operator, biller or bank.
• In some cases, a transaction may show as pending; the final status is determined only after the operator/biller confirms it. No reversal is due for transactions that are ultimately successful.
• The reversed amount remains in your Wallet and can be reused for future transactions.

05 Incorrect details entered by the user

Where the underlying operator or biller offers a recovery mechanism, we may, purely as a goodwill gesture and without obligation, assist you in raising a request; however, the outcome rests entirely with that operator or biller.

06 Disputes & complaint window

• Any dispute regarding a transaction must be raised within 7 (seven) days of the transaction date, along with the relevant transaction ID and details.
• Complaints raised after this window may not be entertained, as operators and billers typically do not permit reconciliation beyond their prescribed timelines.
• Raise disputes through our support channels or the Grievance Officer listed below.

07 Chargebacks

Initiating an unjustified chargeback for a successfully delivered service is considered a breach of our Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to suspend the account, recover the disputed amount and any associated costs, and provide transaction evidence to the payment network or bank to contest such chargebacks.

08 Processing timelines

Where a reversal to the Wallet is due for a failed transaction, it is typically processed within 5 to 7 working days of confirmation from the operator, biller or bank. Timelines may vary depending on the third party involved and factors beyond our control.
